Alice started out studying Illustration at the illustrious Leeds Arts University. Graduating with a first, she swooped straight into a job in Social media and Marketing where her background as a visual artist acted as fertile ground for her content creation skills.

In this hybrid role, she tried her hand at everything from Product Design, to Social Media management, to stop-motion animation, to After Effects. Then in 2021, already equipped with an expertise in the Adobe suite and an array of rough-and-ready skills, she joined the team at Harry Larry Gary to learn the ropes in Graphic Design. From there, her archaic mix of abilities were honed to agency standards: the rest is history.

At home, Alice collects hobbies like trading cards, getting involved in an annoying variety of performing arts, sports and events. Her most consistent muse is writing, which she didn’t realise was an asset to her professional life until joining HLG. After this epiphany, Alice put her penmanship to use in the workplace writing copy in earnest. With previous experience on Social and a few years on the comedy scene under her belt, the words flowed from her fingertips, giving a punchy rhythm to Social posts, website copy and client blogs. In addition to her central role, over the years Alice has variously completed the Northern Advertising programme School of Thought, done freelance work for Matchstick Creative and designed theatre and event posters. A personable Jack of all Trades, Alice’s energy and diverse skillset would be an asset to any workplace.
